Could it be maybe that my previous actions have had an effect on the friendship or is it just everyone moving on leaving me in the dust?

Anything negative will be either screened or deleted.

Discuss.

Dead Rising

EDIT: I have decided this post will be the final one before I restrict it to friends only. Sorry to those not on my friends list. It's either because I simply don't trust you enough or have some dislike towards you.

This has been taken from a random forum. I take no credit for this.

There is a dead mall somewhere in Virginia that is in an advanced state of decay. For one reason or another, the mall still stands — there have been several plans, some of them quite elaborate, to revitalize the area, many of them calling for the original building’s demolition…but none of them have ever come to pass.

It is quite a shame, a sorry thing to look at today. In its heyday in the 1970’s and early 80’s, the mall was jampacked, the place to be on the weekends, especially Saturday nights. It was upscale, fashionable, and always a happy place to go.

Years went by, and bigger, better malls opened around the city. The mall slowly started losing tenants, until today it is completely empty. If you go in it nowadays, you will be astounded by the vast emptiness — every step you make and every word you speak will echo loudly. Where once scores of people did their shopping, met for lunch, and got together, there is now only eerie silence. Over the years, the happy, upbeat feeling of the place has darkened, more and more, until now many people avoid it — but can never tell you exactly why.

The story would end here, were it not for a very curious rumor: it is said on certain Saturday nights throughout the year, something very strange happens. If you go to one of the entrances of this mall, it will be unlocked. Push open the door, and it will give way — and you may enter.

Near a bench right in the entrance will be a shadowy figure — casting a shadow that obscures than the darkness around it. This shadowy figure can be spoken to — call out to it: “I know your secret, and the secrets you keep.” Where once there was shadow, there will appear a face — a radiantly pale, withered old man’s face, with black holes for eye-sockets.

“No,” he will respond in a voice that will be like the slithering of maggots, “for I know yours.”

He will then ask a question — the question will be about your life, or rather a detail about your life, something that happened many years ago. The question he poses will be one you should know the answer to — but so obscure, it will be difficult to answer at first, if you can answer it at all.

You will be forced to answer — you simply won’t be able to respond with “I don’t know”.

If you get the answer right, the shadowy man will thrust a box into your hands, before dissolving back into the darkness. Open the box, and there will be a note, on which will be written the name of the person you were meant to marry or fall in love with. Only rarely is it the person you think it will be.

If you get the answer wrong, your body will be found the morning of the following Sunday, at the entrance to the mall you came in, mutilated and eviscerated so badly no one will be able to identify the body.
It was quite good to see Mike and Sirukie from Friday to Saturday. I'd like to say thanks to Mike for paying breakfast and driving around the place for not just me, but everyone else who turned up. Organizing things earlier than on the day would be nice though. The party on Saturday seemed kinda meh. Zarn, I don't know exactly what could be improved but maybe something for people to do. I'm definitely not one to socialize much unless it's with people I know all too well. Sorry for poking you so much :3

Here's a question I'd like to ask anyone who reads this post.

What annoys you the most in a person?
Example: I for one can't really say what annoys me the most, but it's up there. And what better way to sum it up than with dot points.

- Toilets are horrid (some are just a pit)
- Inherited my deceased grandfather's watch
- Learnt that shoebox apartments have 0 privacy
- Bought a GTX 295, a 1100w power supply and a razer deathadder (Wolfie: Talk to me about 8800GT pricing)
- Got my Hong Kong adult ID
- Sold my native title. Will need to go another trip to receive the final bundle of cash (Apparently my signature is worth 120 ausd a piece)
- Noticed how a lot more people speak english, even if it is horribly bad
- Bought Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter 4 for the PS3
- Noticed almost all restaurants are no BS. They cook meals real fast and they taste awesome.
- I can honestly say a lot of people can't drive properly. Get a manual license and stop with the GO-STOP-GO-STOP method you tool factory
- Hardly any obese people in HK. It's such a nice change. (With all the walking you'd do, you'd die if you were unfit)
- Night life is good. Shops close at around 1 AM and all public transports cease at around 2 to 3 AM
- Shark fin soup is epic. Too bad I got a really sore stomach for 2 days
- 6 star restaurants' bathrooms have class :)
- Bought a set of gloves for the gym and just to make up a costume I might wear around
- Saw a really epic wallet. It was gothic styled but it costed more than 400 ausd. Gave it a miss.
- Went over my uncle's house who by coincidence had very similar interests to me. Played around with his replica guns. (So much <3)
- Visited my grandfather's grave
- Had maccas and was very disappointed at the non-existant hashbrowns
- Watched Dragonball: Evolution (The real live movie) and it was very mediocre. Only recommended for the DB fanboys
- Too many walk too slowly, especially in a crowded place (knowing the populating of HK, that's almost always)
- I've spotted a lot dressing like they are sexually confused. Atleast they look cute in it
- For the entire trip Nathan didn't pop up randomly and friendly fire me to all hell. OH WOW
- New fad seems to be the typical emo hairstyle. There was lots of face palming from me
- Maccas sell KFC styled chicken (doesn't make sense)
- Went to a suburb which has a street filled with BB gun shops. DAYYYYM
- Lone wolfed it back home. Saw Dirty Harry (Did I fire 5 shots or 6 shots?) and The fugitive on the plane (I DIDN'T KILL MY WIFE)
- Good way to start the day.
So it's been decided. On the 9th of March I will be overseas for a week, mainly for business related issues. I will be giving up my native title in a certain village for a large sum of money. Sadly, in order to do so I have to sign a document in Hong Kong and I have to do this trip twice as I will only receive half of the cash in the upcoming trip. My parents have advised me not to tell anyone as there are many who would love to get their hands on this cash and perhaps take what is not their's but I say, people are going to wonder why a jobless fox can afford such expensive things. It's one of the possible ideas people might think. So now comes the question I ask my friends, what computer parts should I get? I'm not looking for a complete overhaul, just a few things to tie me over. A must have for me is a new video card and maybe a new pair of headphones. I can post my computer specs if people need something as a baseline. Just comment and ask.

Suggestions?

Some kid who hasn't hit puberty acts like a tough guy on the internet. He thinks he can get away with anything by deliberately trying to get a reaction out of someone. In this case it was some random I blocked when I had MSN, but when I installed pidgin it basically allows anyone to message me regardless of whether I've blocked them or not. So anyway, this 'tough guy' thought he could call me 'gay' who I might remind is attracted to other guys. So I thought "Seeing this kid has the balls to say all this crap on text, I might aswell do this". So I typed up ";)" and filled the chat window with it, copying and pasting it over and over. After I did that about 12 times, this clown appears offline. That made my day.

That'll teach him >: )
